Sing 2B Happy

How does it work?
Think you might like to join our Sing 2B Happy ensemble? Great! We can't wait to meet you!
We don't require an audition/placement for Sing 2B Happy. We are looking to start up our singing classes in Term 1 2024. Please register your interest via the contact form.
We want you to enjoy singing with us, but we understand that you might decide it's not for you.
That's why we offer a one-month trial at a discounted rate of $50 for four weeks to give you enough time to really see what we're about. That way, you can try us out without breaking the bank.
One month trial
Expectations once you join
Once you decide to join the group, we highly recommend you schedule in at least an hour per week practice between sessions. Hopefully, you'll enjoy the songs we learn so much that you'll look forward to practicing as a break between school work and your other commitments! You will find you have more fun and learn more songs if everyone puts in a little bit of time through the week to make sure they are on top of their parts.
Cost
Cost to join our Sing 2B Happy is $200 for a ten-week term. If you join mid-way through the term, we will calculate the cost on a pro-rata basis.

Our music
The songs we learn at NSME depends on what the group members want to play as well as their level of ability. We are open to considering all types of music. We particularly try to incorporate songs that allow our band members to express their experiences or their feelings both through the lyrics and style of the music.
Of course, the nature of contemporary music (particularly rock), means that some songs are not appropriate especially for younger children, and we incorporate this issue into our music choices. We will always choose the clean versions of any songs with swearing or questionable lyrics or avoid these songs altogether depending on the age of the group. If you have any concerns about this, please get in touch.
Below is a snapshot of some of the songs our ensembles enjoy and those that are on our radar!
